My company is a Black-owned business that has faced the same barriers many others have: being denied access to startup capital simply because of who we are. While newcomers to America often receive loans and support, Black-owned businesses like mine are left to find their own way. Despite these challenges, I am determined to break into major markets and compete for FDIC bank paper, but banks have denied us loans because we are African American.

Our mission is to ensure that people of color have a fair chance at accessing capital and improving their lives. We focus on helping the underemployed by providing opportunities, resources, and support. The $400,000 raised will help us buy bank paper and expand our services, so we can reach more people and make a bigger impact. This is about leveling the playing field and giving everyone a chance to succeed.
