Local Lotus Collective is a student-led program dedicated to elevating Asian-owned businesses in our community. While many of these businesses offer incredible products and experiences, they often face significant challenges in today’s market. Language barriers and limited digital outreach can make it difficult for them to grow, connect with new customers, and share their unique stories. These obstacles can prevent them from reaching their full potential, despite their talent and dedication.

Our mission is to help these businesses overcome these hurdles by providing practical support and resources. With the funds raised, we will restructure and build their social media presence, improve current marketing strategies, create Google and Yelp listings, establish Uber Eats and DoorDash partnerships, enhance branding and aesthetics, share current industry trends, and assist with translations and menu development. Each of these steps is designed to help these businesses expand their reach while preserving the identity that makes them special.
