Empower Youth Voters with UNC Alumni's Initiative

Join brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha and Recent UNC Alumni in our efforts to boost youth voting nationwide.
Hello, our names are Christopher Williams, Isaiah Caldwell, Chandler Robinson, Ladarius Williams, Ashton Hutchinson, and Matthew Harris from The Union of Black Men at UNC-Chapel Hill, in partnership with the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha. This summer, we're embarking on a groundbreaking journey across the country to inspire and educate young voters about the power of their vote.
Why We're Raising Funds
In the 2024 Election Cycle, civic engagement is more crucial than ever. We aim to travel from coast to coast, connecting with communities and highlighting the importance of voting in a non-partisan fashion. Through tabling events, interviews with local leaders, and social media engagement, we will encourage eligible voters, particularly those aged 18-25, to educate themselves about all election cycles and make their voices heard.
Our Mission
This initiative began as a simple idea at a kitchen table and has grown into a meaningful project driven by our collective passion for servant leadership. As active members of various organizations, we are uniquely positioned to engage and inspire young voters. Our trip will not only raise awareness but also build lasting connections within communities, fostering a sense of pride and civic responsibility.
How You Can Help
We are aiming to raise $17,000 to $25,000 to cover the costs of our trip, including RV rental, fuel, food, lodging, and voter engagement materials. Your support will help us bring this vision to life and continue the impactful work of The Union of Black Men at UNC into the next academic year. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making a significant impact on voter engagement across the nation.
Thank you for helping us make a difference! Together, we can empower a new generation of voters and strengthen our democracy.
