Empower Young Wargamers at Adepticon 2025

Empower the next generation of wargamers!

My name is Doug with the 2+Tough YouTube channel, which focuses on family-friendly lore videos for the game Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. I am also taking the lead role in running an annual event for children at Adepticon. These AOS "Youngbloods" (ages 8-14) will be introduced to event-play in a low-stress and highly friendly environment. The event will be supervised so parents can choose to remain with their kids or head out to one of the many Adepticon classes going on.

I am seeking $500 to fund this annual event. The funds will go towards:

- 5 sets of the "Fire & Jade" Spearhead pack. ($60 each)

- Sleeves for the associated cards

- 3D printed trophies

- Printing for rules packs

*Any funds over the initial $500 will go towards prize support for the kids to enjoy! It feels good to spoil the kids, so go wild!*

The Event:

Adepticon is an annual wargaming convention being held in Milwaukee in 2025. There is already a booming Youngbloods event surrounding 40k, and I'd like to bring the same to AOS. Here is the plan:

The event is a three-round spearhead tournament, where players are divided into two teams. Over the course of the event, we will tally how well each team does in each realm and build a narrative.

Once the event is over, I'll make an AOS lore video detailing the fates of Ghyran and Aqshy (the two sides of the Spearhead mat).

I've assisted in running this event two years in a row with great success, and now I'm taking the reins! Help me design a fun and engaging event for the next generation of wargamers. Learn more about it here:
