Empower Young Ladies: Donate to Tara's Club

Hi community, I'm Tara. I am a 15-year-old young lady who's trying to raise funds for the Kids Kitchen. This is a club that was started by myself to help get young ladies involved in some positive activities. In this club, we will prioritize God as much as possible and include Him in everything we do because oftentimes we try to do things on our own and they end up corrupt or brought down because we failed to include God.

When I look around at the young ladies in my community, I feel as if I am a different type of species because of the mindset they possess. I see young ladies walking around being loud, fighting, and doing everything that our parents have taught us not to do for safety reasons as well as our reputation as young ladies. I want to help by starting in my own community; and to do that, I want to start a baking club. In this club, we will bake, cook and also host bake sales for the community. The money from the bake sales will go towards service drives to help the less fortunate. I feel this is a way to teach the young ladies in our community the importance of being patient. It will also teach them that when you start something, you should finish it. Love is also taught because my Dad would always say when he was cooking, you have to cook with love and that’s what makes the food so flavorful. Teamwork is what makes the dream work, and if we work together as a community, we can slowly start to change the mindset of our young ladies from a negative one to a positive one.
