Dear friends and family,

Master of Social Work students at California State University, Stanislaus are committed to making a lasting impact in the fight against period poverty in Ghana, West Africa. Over the past two years, our #ActGlobalInitiative has provided vital menstrual health education, sustainable sanitary solutions, and thousands of menstrual products to the remote island community of Amankwakrom.

At the invitation of a Ghanaian chief, our interdisciplinary teams have:
✔️ Delivered reproductive health workshops to empower young menstruators.
✔️ Innovated and distributed sustainable, reusable sanitary napkins for long-term use.
✔️ Supplied 10,000 single-use sanitary pads to address immediate needs.

Now, in 2025, #ActGlobalInitiative 3.0 is tackling menstrual stigma head-on! Our goal is to raise funds for menstrual supplies, soap, and the construction of a public toilet—a critical resource designed with menstruators in mind, ensuring privacy, dignity, and improved hygiene.

We need your support! Every donation, even a small act makes a big impact and brings us one step closer to creating sustainable change. Join us in empowering menstruators and breaking barriers to menstrual shame and stigma. Use this link to make donations: https://gofund.me/f31ab9ca.
