Hello there,
My name is Ramona Turner and I am seeking your help in raising funds to build a sustainable Retreat & Conference Center for the new nonprofit we started in late 2025, called Healing Oasis of the Soul.
Who are we?
Healing Oasis of the Soul is a co-op of facilitors of healing, providing donation-based mind, body & soul wellness programs for our community.
Right now, classes, workshops, and services we offer include:
- Energy Healing
- Laughter Yoga
- Anxiety & Trauma Release Techniques
- Meditation & Yoga
- Sound Healing with Aromatherapy
- Intuitive Readings
- Holistic Pain & Disease Care
- And more are coming
Our Goal
These sessions occur in our South San Jose Studio. However, our larger goal is to offer more emersive wellness sessions at a sustainable retreat and conference center in Central or Northern California.
The wellness center would boast:
- ADA Trails and a Labyrinth for Meditative Strolls through Nature
- A Community Garden from which Volunteers & Guests Eat. Volunteers would Receive Farm Fresh Produce to take home with them, when available
- Cob-Style Earthen Bungalows & Classrooms, that are Fire Resistant while also Nurishing the Air We Breathe
- Gazebos, Park Benches, & Picnic Areas for Classes & Inner Reflection
- A Bee Hive Condo for Fresh Honey
- An educational experience to learn about the earth, ourselves, & each other, awhile setting an example for & mentoring others in creating similar retreats in their area.
- And Solar Panels, Septic System, Gravity Showers, a Compost Alley & Compost Toilets to round out our goals for an Earth-Friendly Experience.
These programs are for everyone who seek to benefit from them, not only those who can afford them. Currently, anxiety is at an all time high, as people are losing their jobs and relationships, and are hiding from and/or cringing at the daily news cycle.
Our goal is to help community members -- neighbors and fellow humans -- stop hurting and hiding, and start harnessing the power within to lead the lives they envision for themselves.
