The Sudanese American Medical Association (SAMA) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2008, delivering humanitarian relief and building local resilience in Sudan. Focused on food security, outbreak response, and capacity building, SAMA empowers communities to lead recovery. Since the 2023 war, it has provided 1.5M+ meals, supported thousands of patients, and trained healthcare workers across Sudan. Partnering with local and global organizations, SAMA bridges aid and sustainability—saving lives, strengthening systems, and shaping a brighter, self-reliant future for Sudan.
