Our Goal: Uniting Individuals to Assist Those in Need

We are planning to get fully up and running this summer, but we need to raise funds for all the necessities like advertising around our local areas with flyers, getting a website domain, renting out actual places to hold some donation drives, buying our first packages which our volunteers will hand out to the homeless, and also getting ads to fill our volunteer spaces. A plus would also be being able to get a subscription to something like Wix so we can build a more professional website that is not a Google site.

ShieldedSupport (our project name):

We are an unincorporated volunteer organization led by young people that is attempting to improve our communities, beginning in North Carolina. By planning donation drives, gathering necessities, and making it simpler for others to give back, we hope to assist those in need.

We need your assistance to expand as we are just getting started.

Your contribution will be used for the following: printing awareness-raising flyers; renting tables and venues for donation drives; purchasing bins and containers to gather supplies; and paying for website and domain fees to increase our online presence.

Donations are not tax-deductible because we are presently an unincorporated volunteer organization and not yet a registered nonprofit. However, every dollar is used directly for supplies and fees that will later come to incorporate our organization if we grow, since it can cost anywhere from $500 to $3000 to incorporate a non profit such as ours.

We are currently only located in Charlotte-Mecklenburg County in North Carolina.

How funds will be used: Supplies, fees for incorporation, renting out spaces, printing colored flyers, buying a domain, website creator subscriptions, and much more.
