My name is Tammy and my friend, Michael and his wife, Karen Pitassi are working together with the local community to help fundraise a reliable vehicle for Shauntay and her children! This vehicle will allow her to take care of their everyday needs as well as get back and forth from work and school.

Shauntay Burks is a dedicated mother of five children who has relocated to Douglas County from Las Vegas, Nevada. She has become an asset to her community by encouraging the celebration of each other's differences.

Her five children, ranging from ages 4 to 14, are starting to enjoy the school system and the sporting activities, and musical opportunities available to explore. Shauntay's goal is to complete studies for her long-term career in aviation engineering. For financial stability, she is pursuing a pharmaceutical job. To thrive in her combined roles as a parent, student, and employed professional, Shauntay needs reliable transportation suitable for her and her five children.
