Help Us Build a Brighter Future for Rural Literacy in Ecuador!
In the heart of Tisaleo, Ecuador, the Inga Palla Community Library stands as a beacon of hope and self-managed education. We are a grassroots initiative dedicated to providing high-quality, free literacy services to our rural community, offering mediation in Spanish, Kichwa, and English. More than just books, we are a vibrant cultural hub where children and adults gather for chess, painting, and reading workshops.
We are currently seeking funding to improve our infrastructure. Our space needs essential upgrades to continue serving as a safe and inspiring environment for all.
Despite being a self-managed project, our team of librarians and cultural managers is committed to excellence. We are constantly evolving, participating in international scholarships and specialized training focused on reading mediation for rural and vulnerable populations. We believe that a small library can offer world-class impact.
