I'm Jeremy and I'm raising money for my good friend Rob Brown. Rob, a former driver at Campus Transit, has been battling MS for over a decade now. He is currently in a health care facility, unable to leave his bed. His only way of communicating with the world and taking online classes is through his phone and computer. The illness has limited the use of his hands, so he relies on software designed to use his eye and head movement along with his voice to control the cursor and operate the computer. Two months ago, hackers got into his phone and computer and basically destroyed it all. Over the past two months, he's pieced together a system using an old phone and computer to regain his online access. However, the hardware isn't the best, and his access to the internet and his social network are severely limited. I'm raising money to help him purchase the phone, computer, software, and additional hardware/devices to maximize his ability to get online, communicate with friends/family, and work towards finishing his degree. Rob is on a very limited income and could use all of our help. If everyone who knew Rob could contribute just a few dollars, we can help make his daily life so much better.
