Hello, our team is working with WelcomeNST to resettle an SIV family (Special Immigrant Visas are for those who have worked with the U.S. Armed Forces in the Middle East)--2 parents and their 8 year-old child. Our goal is for them to become self-sufficient in our beautiful area in the next 3 months. Everything is focused on empowering the family to overcome their own resettlement challenges, with our support.

With this special refugee status they are authorized to work and contribute to our community right away. Therefore, we are raising a small amount of funds simply to help get everything started, from the first few months of rent, furnishing an apartment, groceries, and medical needs.
