My name is Sophie Sogomian, and I am a high school student and the organizer of Art Out Loud. Because of the underrepresentation and attacks on the LGBTQ+ community, I decided to create this project in 2024 to provide queer youth with a platform and safe space for self-expression, resistance, and celebration. I am so excited to bring Art Out Loud back to the community this year in 2025. On October 25, an incredibly talented group of students from all over Los Angeles County will come together to share live music, spoken word, and visual art with the greater community and bring Art Out Loud to life once again!

This is a project that I am organizing and funding on my own. I'm lucky to work with Lineage Performing Arts Center, who is donating the venue. Please help me raise funds to support the artists and cover the costs of producing the event and exhibition. Thank you!
