A few weeks before her birthday, my mom suffered a severe stroke. She is working hard to recover and return to the things that bring her joy - her kitchen, her garden, and her horse Milly. She’s learning to navigate life with new challenges, but her spirit hasn’t slowed down one bit. With the love of her family, her horse Milly, and her amazing therapists, she’s determined to get back to the pasture and the life she loves. Michelle has inspired us all to be free spirited and live life to the fullest with an attitude of gratitude.

We’re raising funds for a custom all terrain wheelchair that will help her roll alongside Milly — through mud, grass, and sunshine — as she heals and dreams up her new project, Buggies for Brains, to provide horse therapy to those who have also suffered from strokes.
