Empower Lives: Help Fund Eating Disorder Treatment

Hello,

My name is Eliana Benevides. I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa in 2022, and I have been in recovery for 2 years.

Even though eating disorders are the second-deadliest mental health illnesses, they remain one of the most stigmatized mental health conditions due to a lack of understanding of the realities of the disease. About 1 in 10 Americans will experience an eating disorder in their lifetime, but many people do not have access to adequate mental health care to battle these illnesses.

I want to help raise money for people who aren't able to receive adequate support to fight their eating disorders. Through the Kirsten Haglund Foundation, individuals can get access to eating disorder treatment regardless of their ability to pay for it. Please help me raise money for this cause!
