Help Lisa, Sydney, and Charlie get past this difficult time

I’ve watched my friend Lisa Granito struggle through the break up of her marriage and the process of divorce. I've wished I could help, but all I could do was be a sympathetic ear. I was hoping her troubles would be over once the divorce was final. I was hoping she and her two children, Sydney (11yrs) and Charlie (8yrs), could move on and start over. Sadly, no. A year ago, despite court orders, her ex-husband walked away from his financial obligations to Lisa and their children. Now she finds herself struggling to pay bills and attorney fees. She has tirelessly tried to get help from the family court system but that route has been infuriatingly disappointing. It’s been debilitating to go from stay-at-home mom to sole breadwinner needing to re-educate herself for a new career. After doggedly pursuing the needed preparatory schooling, Lisa has earned a place in a nursing school program that will begin in August. Lisa doesn’t have family nearby to lean on, and she has depleted her savings and credit just to feed and clothe her children. The situation is so messed up and my impotence at being able to do anything to help has led me to GoFundMe. Together, we can all make a huge difference to Lisa, Sydney, and Charlie.
