Dear Supporters,
We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to help kickstart our budding scout group, Kikko Villarán, nestled in the heart of Ayacucho. With 15 enthusiastic members and three dedicated leaders, we're on a mission to make a difference in the lives of children who yearn for a unique form of education.
Rather than affiliating with Scout Peru, we've chosen to align ourselves with the Voluntades organization, driven by a shared social mission of offering children an alternative path to growth. Our vision extends beyond borders, as we aspire to reach the villages surrounding Ayacucho with the wonderful message of scouting.
Every Saturday, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, our park comes alive with activity. We welcome children aged 9 to 14 to join our ranks at any point. This age group is particularly vulnerable in Ayacucho, and they have the potential to quickly become leaders themselves, which will contribute to the rapid growth of our group. Our emblematic green and blue neckerchiefs are crafted from the renowned local artisanship of Retabulum, a symbol of our connection to Ayacucho. Blue, chosen by our Peruvian leader, blends seamlessly with green, representing my Belgian heritage as a leader. This fusion of cultures is a source of enrichment for all involved.
In Peru, there's a greater emphasis on technique and a literal understanding of scouting values, while in Belgium, the focus leans towards play and fostering friendships. This harmonious blend provides an ideal environment for our young members.
Since our inception in July of this year, we've embarked on delightful day trips, forging bonds and creating memories. Looking ahead, we plan to venture into weekend adventures and host our inaugural fundraising event.
Your contributions will go towards procuring essential equipment, including tents, game materials, first aid supplies, and badges, ensuring that no child is left behind due to financial constraints. Additionally, we aim to create our group flag, purchase ropes for technical training, and establish a solid foundation for a stock of scout polo shirts available for purchase by our members.
Finally, we're excited to use this funding to acquire lollipops for our first fundraising initiative, an endeavor that promises not only to support our group but also to engage the wider community.

Wij doen een oprechte oproep aan u om onze opkomende scoutsgroep, Kikko Villarán, gevestigd in het hart van Ayacucho, te helpen van start te gaan. Met 15 enthousiaste leden en drie toegewijde leiders, hebben we als missie een verschil te maken in het leven van kinderen die verlangen naar een unieke vorm van educatie.
In plaats van ons aan te sluiten bij Scout Peru, hebben we ervoor gekozen om ons te verbinden met de organisatie Voluntades, gedreven door een gedeelde sociale missie om kinderen een alternatieve weg naar groei te bieden. Onze visie reikt verder dan grenzen, want we streven ernaar de omliggende dorpen van Ayacucho te bereiken met de prachtige boodschap van scouting.
Elke zaterdag, van 15:00 uur tot 17:30 uur, bruist ons park van activiteit. Wij verwelkomen kinderen van 9 tot 14 jaar om op elk moment bij ons aan te sluiten. Deze leeftijdsgroep is bijzonder kwetsbaar in Ayacucho en zij hebben het potentieel om snel zelf leiders te worden, wat zal bijdragen aan de snelle groei van onze groep. Onze kenmerkende groene en blauwe dassen worden vervaardigd door het befaamde lokale ambachtschap van Retabulum, een symbool van onze verbondenheid met Ayacucho. Blauw, gekozen door onze Peruaanse leider, smelt naadloos samen met groen, wat mijn Belgische erfgoed als leider vertegenwoordigt. Deze samensmelting van culturen is een bron van verrijking voor iedereen die betrokken is.
In Peru ligt er meer nadruk op technieken en een letterlijk begrip van de waarden van scouting, terwijl in België de focus meer ligt op spelen en vriendschappen sluiten. Deze harmonieuze mix biedt een ideale omgeving voor onze jonge leden.
Sinds onze oprichting in juli van dit jaar hebben we heerlijke dagtochten gemaakt, banden gesmeed en herinneringen gecreëerd. Vooruitkijkend plannen we weekendavonturen en organiseren we ons eerste fondsenwervingsinitiatief.
Uw bijdragen zullen worden gebruikt om essentiële uitrusting aan te schaffen, waaronder tenten, spelmateriaal, EHBO-benodigdheden en badges, om ervoor te zorgen dat geen enkel kind wordt buitengesloten vanwege financiële beperkingen. Daarnaast streven we ernaar onze groepsvlag te creëren, touwen aan te schaffen voor technische training en een solide basis te leggen voor een voorraad scoutpolo's die beschikbaar zijn voor onze leden.
Tot slot kijken we ernaar uit om met dit geld lolly's aan te schaffen voor ons eerste fondsenwervingsinitiatief, een onderneming die niet alleen belooft onze groep te ondersteunen, maar ook de bredere gemeenschap te betrekken.

Nos dirigimos a ustedes con una sincera solicitud para ayudar a impulsar nuestro incipiente grupo scout, Kikko Villarán, ubicado en el corazón de Ayacucho. Con 15 miembros entusiastas y tres líderes dedicados, tenemos como misión marcar la diferencia en la vida de niños que anhelan una forma única de educación.
En lugar de afiliarnos a Scout Perú, hemos elegido alinearnos con la organización Voluntades, impulsados por una misión social compartida de ofrecer a los niños un camino alternativo hacia el crecimiento. Nuestra visión se extiende más allá de fronteras, ya que aspiramos a llegar a los pueblos que rodean Ayacucho con el maravilloso mensaje del escultismo.
Cada sábado, de 15:00 a 17:30 horas, nuestro parque cobra vida con actividad. Damos la bienvenida a niños de 9 a 14 años para unirse a nuestras filas en cualquier momento. Este grupo de edad es particularmente vulnerable en Ayacucho y tienen el potencial de convertirse rápidamente en líderes, lo que contribuirá al rápido crecimiento de nuestro grupo. Nuestros emblemáticos pañuelos verdes y azules están confeccionados por la renombrada artesanía local de Retabulum, un símbolo de nuestra conexión con Ayacucho. En Perú, se pone mayor énfasis en la técnica y en una comprensión literal de los valores del escultismo, mientras que en Bélgica, el enfoque se inclina hacia el juego y la formación de amistades. Esta armoniosa combinación brinda un ambiente ideal para nuestros jóvenes miembros.
Desde nuestra fundación en julio de este año, hemos emprendido deliciosas excursiones de un día, forjando lazos y creando recuerdos. Mirando hacia el futuro, planeamos aventurarnos en escapadas de fin de semana y organizar nuestro primer evento de recaudación de fondos.
Sus contribuciones se destinarán a la adquisición de equipos esenciales, incluidas tiendas de campaña, material de juego, suministros de primeros auxilios y distintivos, asegurando que ningún niño se quede atrás debido a limitaciones financieras. Además, aspiramos a crear nuestra bandera de grupo, comprar cuerdas para la formación técnica y establecer una base sólida para un stock de camisas de scout disponibles para su compra por nuestros miembros.
Por último, estamos emocionados de utilizar este financiamiento para adquirir paletas para nuestra primera iniciativa de recaudación de fondos, un esfuerzo que promete no solo apoyar a nuestro grupo, sino también involucrar a la comunidad en general.
