Help Children of Promise Inc Make a Difference

Children of Promise, Inc. Needs Your Support– Join Us in Celebrating 15 Years of Uplifting Our Youth!

What started in Mrs. Mae’s backyard with just 25 kids, a couple of arts and craft tables, backpacks stuffed with school supplies, and a whole lot of love has grown into District 8’s largest back-to-school celebration! Now in our 15th year, Children of Promise, Inc., Back-to-School Resource Fair serves over 500 children annually with joy, dignity, and purpose. This isn’t just about supplies— it’s about community. It’s about making sure our kids walk into the school year feeling seen, valued, and ready to thrive. That means more than backpacks, notebooks, and clean uniforms. It means fresh haircuts. We recognize that feeling confident in their appearance plays a vital role in enhancing a child’s self-esteem and overall well-being.

Since 2019, our trusted partner Shape Up King has been providing haircuts, and let us tell you—it has been a game-changer. The boost in confidence we see when a child looks in the mirror and smiles, That’s priceless. But it does come with a cost, and that’s where we need you.

We’re asking for your help to cover one of our largest and most meaningful expenses. Your gift today will help our children step into the school year confident and empowered!

Let’s continue the legacy. Let’s celebrate 15 years of dedication, growth, and community care.

Donate today. Please stand with us. Help us send our kids back to school on a strong footing.
