We are the Complex Communication Team in Madison County School District. We are a group of Speech Language Pathologists that serve the children in our school district who have more involved communication needs (may use ways other than verbal communication to communicate with others). We are looking to raise money to purchase a 3D printer and supplies to create keyguards for our students who require alternative and assistive communication devices (AAC) to communicate. These allow children who have fine motor skill difficulties (pointing to a spot, keeping their hand/arm still) to more accurately choose the words they want to say on their communication device. Having this machine would make communication more accessible to many kids in our district in a much shorter time and at a much better price.
