Empower Kids through Sport and Education

The Story:

In 2022, I had the privilege of traveling to Uganda and spending time with the children, coaches (Julius and Vicent), and community behind Tennis For All Uganda (TFAU). What I saw and experienced changed me.

At a dusty court in Kampala, I met kids who arrived each day barefoot, carrying borrowed rackets, beaming with joy. For them, tennis wasn’t just a sport. It was hope. It was structure. It was belonging.

Tennis For All Uganda is more than a tennis program. It provides free early childhood education, after-school training, life skills coaching, school sponsorships, community outreach, and health awareness programs for over 150 children every month many of whom would otherwise have no access to these opportunities.

These kids come from vulnerable communities, where daily survival often overshadows childhood. But thanks to TFAU, they have a chance to learn, play, grow, and dream.

Now, I’m asking you to stand with me to help keep these monthly programs running strong.

We’re raising to support TFAU’s monthly activities, which include:

Tennis coaching and mentorship

After-school education support and preschool learning

School sponsorships for children from low-income families

Community sports for youth (soccer, netball, volleyball)

Health awareness sessions and nutrition support

Equipment and transport for outreach events in rural areas

Your donation no matter how small goes a long way in Uganda.

$10 can feed a child for a week.

$25 can provide a month of tennis and life skills training.

$50 can cover a month of school materials and health supplies.

$100+ can help sponsor a child’s education and full program access.

When I think of the kids I met who dreams of becoming a doctors or kids who walks miles each day just to train I think of what’s possible when we say yes to lifting others.
