My name is Sterling Hairston, and I'm currently studying nursing at Duke University. I have been given an incredible opportunity to participate in a global immersion experience where I will travel to a destination I get selected for to provide healthcare to underserved communities. This experience will not only broaden my understanding of healthcare in diverse settings but also allow me to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people in need.

During this trip, I'll be working with local healthcare professionals, volunteering in clinics, and learning about different medical practices, all while gaining hands-on experience that will shape my career as a nurse. I am committed to making a difference in the lives of others, and this trip will be an important step in achieving that goal.
