Dear Friends and Loved Ones,
I am excited to announce that I am studying A Year in Ceremony, a program for community healers offered by Earth Keepers Wisdom School in Missouri. We use the tools of song, movement, small group sharing, grief work, and narrative to better understand ourselves and build community. We practice ritual and ceremony to deepen our connections with ourselves, each other and nature.
In order to pay my tuition and provide for my family while I travel to study and practice, I need to raise $5,000. All support is welcome—prayers, energetic support, words of encouragement and monetary contributions.
I welcome you to read on to learn more about what inspires me to enter into this course of study, what I hope to bring to our community, and how to donate.
I am certain that you can feel that we are living in disconnected, lonely, isolated times. Loneliness has even been recognized as a public health concern by the US Surgeon General and the World Health Organization. The division and conflict we see in the news is reflected in our personal lives and relationships as well.
We need new ways to tend conflict and practice belonging to repair our communities and families.
In response to this need, I am answering the call to grow my gifts in service to the whole. Through this training, my healing practice will expand to include the relational work of community tending. What I learn will directly impact the community I serve as the Care Coordinator at the Dubuque Rescue Mission.
If you would like to learn more, I would be happy to meet in person and tell you more about my practice and the program.
Peace and Resistance,
Hannah Grove
