Help Desert Storm Robotics Put Rural Arizona on the Map!
Desert Storm is a community-based FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team in New River, Arizona, founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is simple but powerful: Empower students through hands-on STEM experiences that change lives and strengthen our community.
Our 12 student members come from diverse backgrounds but share the same dream—to innovate, collaborate, and proudly represent rural Arizona in the upcoming FRC season. Along the way, they gain real-world engineering skills, leadership experience, and the confidence to take on challenges far beyond the classroom.
In our rookie year, we’re aiming high: a regional win and a program that will inspire students for years to come. But for rural teams like ours, the cost of designing, building, and competing with a competition-ready robot is steep. Competition registration, materials, and travel quickly add up to thousands of dollars.
