We founded our business, Finding Justice A Flower and Vegetable Garden, because we live in a food desert where community members are afflicted with diet-related illnesses due to a lack of access to fresh produce and information about how to eat for purpose. We grow to heal our community.

We are building new sites to create access points for organically grown produce and are looking for a way to keep our business sustainable. Growing outdoors has an enormous cost for inputs when growing on a smaller scale that is not easily offset by the prices of food. We have purchased the land and have some support for water and electricity on our new site and now need funding for the container farm. In this container we will be able to grow the equivalent of 2.5 acres of produce with much less labor. This is how we make our business sustainable.

Our Hydroponic container farm will be a site to grow produce annually. This is a game changer! We will be able to provide fresh produce to our community all year. We will create jobs by employing community members and create a new generation of farmers by educating youth about agriculture as a career choice.

All of the money will go towards the purchase of the Hydroponic container farm to include materials, setup, and delivery.
