I’m incredibly honored to share that I’ve been selected as a 2025 candidate for the Kentucky State University National Alumni Association’s (KSUNAA) Forty Under Forty Society!
This recognition celebrates outstanding alumni who are making a meaningful impact in their communities and professions—and I’m proud to stand among this year’s distinguished group.
Kentucky State University was more than just where I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education and M.Ed. in Special Education—it was the foundation that shaped me into the passionate educator and leader I am today. My time at KSU instilled in me a lifelong dedication to inclusive education, student empowerment, and community service.
With over 16 years in education—serving as a Learning Specialist with the Fayette County Board of Education, ECS Department Chair, Action Team Lead, Kiwanis Kids Advisor, and 2023–2024 Teacher of the Year at Peeples Elementary—I remain committed to creating student-centered learning environments, supporting diverse learners, and leading through collaboration.
As part of this KSUNAA honor, I am tasked with raising a minimum of $500 by July 15, 2025 in support of the Forty Under Forty Society Scholarship Fund. This initiative helps ensure current and future Thorobreds have access to life-changing educational opportunities.
If you’d like to support me and this meaningful cause, contributions can be directly here.
Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference—and I’m grateful for your support as I continue to give back to the university that gave so much to me.
