Hiya! I’m Ms. Brianna Jackson, a graduate student pursuing my Master’s in Counseling at THE Illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. I’m so excited to be on this journey, and I wanted to share a little bit about my purpose and why your support would be such a blessing.
Since a teen, I’ve felt a calling to help others. Whether it’s friends, family, or even strangers, I’ve always found joy in being a source of support, listening without judgment, and offering guidance when needed. After seeing the profound impact that mental health support can have on people’s lives, I decided to make it my mission to become a counselor and public servant. I strive to help individuals navigate the challenges that life throws their way, whether it’s dealing with anxiety, trauma, grief, or just trying to find a sense of direction. I’m truly passionate about becoming the kind of counselor who makes a lasting impact and is intentional about my service in the community. Whether I’m working with people recovering from trauma, helping families through tough times, or guiding individuals through life’s transitions, I want to offer hope, healing, and resources to those who need it most.
As you might imagine, pursuing a degree in counseling comes with its share of financial challenges—tuition, textbooks, fieldwork fees, including but not limited to licensure, credentialing, insurance, supervision, etc. and more. That’s where I’m reaching out for help; If you’re able to support me, it will allow me to focus more on my studies, practicum, and training, and less on the financial stress that can sometimes be overwhelming. Every contribution, no matter the size, truly makes a real difference.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and believing in my vision. Your support—whether financial or by simply sharing this campaign—means more to me than words can express. I’m excited to pay forward the kindness and support I’ve received from you and so many others along the way!
