My name is John Gibson, on March 11th, 2025, my big sister, Brandy’s life changed in an instant. She suffered a devastating accident that left her with a severed T6 spinal cord, a fractured T10 vertebra, and broken or fractured ribs. Brandy is now a paraplegic—numb from the sternum down—but retains use of her arms and shoulders. Her spine has been fully fused.
