Empower Blue's Mission for Community Growth in district 17
Donation protected
BLUE entered politics in 2017 by contesting for the Senatorial vacancy of Montserrado County as an Independent Candidate and came second without any party support. His work as a philanthropist and a trailblazer of change in the social sector of Liberia, affording tons of youth the opportunity to excel through direct interventions as well as the establishment of the HOTTFM Radio Network with stations in 4 counties, made him an overnight favorite to many.
Before politics, Blue was an international disc jockey who traveled across the world performing and later became an entrepreneur, owning 3 radio stations across Liberia and 1 television station. He is also a philanthropist through the Blue Foundation, constructing community infrastructures across Montserrado County, providing FREE ambulance service and FREE community medical outreach service, and providing free education for over 250 students on his foundation scholarship scheme.
Blue’s national interest is to see the tourism sector of Liberia flourish to heights that will provide a realistic alternative to economic redemption, as well as making sure that District 17 is well developed, including the construction of a referral hospital and a technical and vocational institution, expansion of electricity and pipe-borne water, paved feeder roads, and the complete rehabilitation of the Unity Conference Center, to name a few. He is honored to fight for these opportunities each and every day as a Representative. The Blue Foundation is a charity designed to help the district with these initiatives.
