Help Us Harness the Collective Wisdom of Our Community!

The Black community is often seen as lacking the resources to be a potent economic force in many cities. While we may not possess the same financial resources as others, we hold something equally valuable: the wisdom, knowledge, skills, and intellect within Black culture and our local people. This is our strength, our power, and our contribution to the world. History has shown us to be resilient, overcoming obstacles despite significant challenges.

However, this invaluable resource is often overlooked and scattered across various urban areas and communities. Now is the time for change! With modern technology, we can consolidate this collective advantage into a single, central platform. Imagine having all our culture's knowledge and skills in one accessible place, ready to fuel our economic development and community empowerment.

BlacIntellec, The Black Atlanta Think Tank, was born from this vision. As a 501(c)(3) organization, it stands as a formidable force within the Black community, dedicated to addressing the economic challenges we face. Beyond mere advocacy, BlacIntellec assumes the mantle of protector, safeguarding the hard-won gains of Black economic development. We are proud to be a part of this journey, and we invite you to join us.

Introducing the Black Atlanta Repository (BAR)

We are excited to introduce the Black Atlanta Repository (BAR). We aim to build a comprehensive catalog of Black knowledge, intellect, and skills within our community and country. The BAR enables us to speak the views of the Black community confidently. Starting with a goal of 1,000 sources, we anticipate exponential growth. The BAR will be a dynamic repository, showcasing the diverse range of thoughts and ideas in the Black community and fostering a culture of leadership and collaboration.

The Black Atlanta Repository (BAR) is not just a resource; it’s a game-changer. It will be the cornerstone of our collective efforts, where each member's contribution is crucial. We will use the BAR to develop new ideas, concepts, principles, and activities to propel Black culture forward. By tapping into the BAR, we aim to harness the collective wisdom of our community, using it as a foundational resource for informed decision-making that can shape our future. Imagine the possibilities, the impact we can make together.

Join Us in Building a Brighter Future

Your involvement in the BAR could catalyze transformative change in our community, sparking new ideas, collaborations, and initiatives that can lead to a stronger, more prosperous future for all of us. BAR membership is open to all members of the Black community, regardless of their background. We believe that our unique knowledge and skills can make a significant difference.

Your participation in the BAR will contribute to our collective effort and provide you with opportunities for personal growth and empowerment. We understand that everyone has different schedules and responsibilities, so there is no fixed time commitment for BAR participation. By joining us on a stand-by basis, willing to share your insights and knowledge in areas where you have gained experience, you can help shape our community's future and enhance your skills and understanding.

BAR members will offer voluntary insights through focus groups, opinion articles, research points, panel discussions, and more. Most contributions will be made via the Internet as needs arise, allowing you to contribute at your convenience. You will have the option of participating or passing. Your experience will help us understand challenges and develop responses to influence policymakers, business and industry leaders, and the broader community, protecting the Black community and furthering opportunities for community impact.
