What Is BlacIntellec?

BlacIntellec is Black Atlanta's think tank — the city's first independent research and strategy organization dedicated to Black neighborhoods, Black businesses, and Black economic power.

We develop the research, policy ideas, and long-term plans that Black Atlanta needs to control its own future. Our flagship initiative, the BlacATL36 Blueprint, is a comprehensive 10-year strategy for Black business growth, housing stability, and community wealth — written by and for Black Atlanta.

Why This Matters Now

Displacement is accelerating. Ownership gaps are widening. And without our own intellectual infrastructure — our own researchers, strategists, and policy voices — Black Atlanta risks losing control of both the narrative and the resources that shape our neighborhoods.
