Imagine being part of the LGBTQIA+ community but not feeling like you belong because you don’t look or behave like everyone else in the room. Perhaps you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community, but because you also identify as black, indigenous, or a person of color, there are little to no community resources that will meet your unique intersectional needs.

Today in Savannah, GA, these issues exist and that’s why we’ve come together to develop a solution.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our mutual aid organization dedicated to promoting community empowerment, unity, and inclusivity, while advocating for BIPOC LGBTQIA individuals. And we need your support to make it happen!

At our organization, we believe in the power of ACTION: Advocacy, Collaboration, Training, Inclusion, Outreach, Networking. We strive to CULTIVATE a future where every individual, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender or racial identity, can live their lives authentically and without fear of discrimination.

 To achieve our goals, we are seeking your generous contributions to cover our startup costs. These funds initially will be used to cover the expenses of licensing, certifications, and other applicable administrative activities related to the startup. Continued sourcing will be used to:
 
1. Establish a physical safe space: We aim to create a welcoming and affirming community center where BIPOC LGBTQIA individuals can find support, resources, and a sense of belonging. This space will serve as a hub for empowerment programs and resources.

 2. Develop educational programs and trainings: We will organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to increase awareness and understanding of BIPOC LGBTQIA specific issues, intersectionality, and allyship within the wider community. These initiatives will foster inclusivity and empower individuals to become advocates for change.

 3. Advocate for BIPOC & LGBTQIA rights: We will actively engage in advocacy efforts to promote equal rights and fight against discrimination at the local, state, and national levels. Our organization will work tirelessly to amplify the voices of the BIPOC LGBTQIA community and ensure their visibility and representation in all spheres of society.

 4. Provide resources and support: We are committed to providing a wide range of resources and support services to LGBTQIA individuals, including access to healthcare, legal assistance, mental health support, and empowerment programs. Our aim is to empower individuals to live their lives authentically and with pride.

 5. Raise awareness and advocate for BIPOC LGBTQIA: We will prioritize advocacy and support specifically for BIPOC LGBTQIA individuals, fighting for their rights, visibility, and inclusivity in all aspects of society through support, sponsorship, and awareness.

 Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on the lives of BIPOC LGBTQIA individuals in our city.
