Wiley and I are best friends. She is the apple of my eye. The love of my life. We have been inseparable until the recent loss of our living situation. She is temporarily staying in the mountains while I work to provide the stability she deserves.

Wiley is a rescue and she had a pretty terrible first year of life. After two years of love & kindness, Wiley blossomed into the most wonderFULL dog I have ever known. To continue providing Wiley with the stability she deserves, I am facing the challenge of securing reliable transportation. Without a vehicle, I cannot make the transition to our new life or maintain the stability we both need

I live a humble and simple life. For much of the past decade, I have endeavored to pay for my life through work/trade. My aim is to always earn my keep and earn my sleep, which has brought a great deal of peace, but not a great deal of money. I have been fortunate enough to have been gifted opportunities to serve others in trade for a roof over my head for some time. However, the ever-increasing cost of living in the city means becoming unhoused is a real possibility all the time. Because of this (and other reasons), I have decided to move away from the hustle and bustle of the city where keeping a roof over our heads has become very difficult, if not impossible. To transition effectively, I need to acquire transportation, which costs far more than I have.

We do have our living situation figured out and will be traveling there soon, and I am asking for help to purchase a reliable used vehicle to not only get us to our destinations, but to also ensure I am able to travel to a job. We will be able to secure an appropriate used automobile for $5,000 (or less) and will need to pay fees and licensing and a bit for fuel.

Any funds raised beyond our needs will be donated to communities in Sonora and Joshua Tree, where Wiley and I will be starting a new chapter.
