I’m trying to raise money for my daughter Aliciana Rose Jokinen to go on her first missionary trip, the cost of going is $3,000 it would be a major blessing to be able to Provide her this awesome opportunity. Hello everyone! My name is Aliciana Jokinen, I am 17 years old and a senior in high-school. This summer I have been given the chance to go on a missions trip to the Philippines and I am so excited. It will be during the end of may to around mid June. This trip will be with a friend and her siblings who have recently been adopted and moved to America from the Philippines. I’ve always had such a huge heart for people, and I really hope to see God move in this trip through us. This is something I also have thought a lot about pursuing, which is missionary work. I really really love different cultures and people. It is such a reflection of Gods unique character and I really want to be able to take a part in touching people’s hearts. I hope this mission trip will open my eyes and make me more grateful for what we have here in America, and I hope it brings more clarification as to where God is calling me. I really do hope to be changed through this and matured in a way where I am able to be a blessing to even more people when I return back home. I hope to see God move in miraculous ways. And I hope to be able to step outside of my comfort zone to experience the joy of giving. I truly can’t wait to see what God will do with such an impactful experience. And I am truly blessed to be given an opportunity such as this.
