When we launched Heart & Flour: Equal Kneads Bakery, we dreamed of more than just baking. We wanted to create a space where people with disabilities could gain independence, learn skills, and feel the joy of being part of something bigger. Thanks to you—our community—we’ve already come so far. Because of your incredible support, we opened our storefront bakery in Lincoln and have been able to employ and train amazing individuals who bring their heart into every loaf of bread, cookie, and cinnamon roll. Every purchase, share, and donation has helped us grow into a space where laughter, learning, and love are baked in daily. Now—we’re taking the next big step. We have officially expanded into the building right next door! This means more room for students, more jobs for individuals with disabilities, and more opportunities to keep growing this mission. At the same time, we’ve started the process of establishing The Together Table Foundation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This foundation will serve as the heart of everything we’re building—helping create jobs, teaching life skills, and guiding other businesses on how to employ members of the disabled community. But to make this dream a reality, we need your help once again. Your continued support will allow us to: • Renovate and equip the new space so we can serve and train even more people. • Build a sensory-friendly break room for our students and workers. • Launch The Together Table Foundation officially and begin offering programs that change lives. • Expand our reach so that every person has a seat at the table.
