Celebrate My Birthday by Changing a Life

This year, for my birthday, I’m setting a special goal: to raise $3,500—enough to cover the full cost of one scholarship for the Black Man’s Self-Mastery Retreat.

As the co-founder of Self Mastery Retreats International, I’m proud to share that in 2024 we successfully hosted three transformative retreats, each rooted in our mission to design tailor-made experiences that foster deep personal growth. These retreats are crafted to create safe, empowering spaces for reflection, connection, and transformation.

The Black Man’s Self-Mastery Retreat continues this mission, offering Black men the opportunity to engage in intergenerational conversations, self-reflection, and personal growth. It’s a space for healing, connection, and empowerment, with the potential to create lasting change in participants’ lives and their communities.

This scholarship will be awarded to a young man between the ages of 18 to 24—someone who might not otherwise have access to such a transformative experience. By removing financial barriers, this scholarship ensures that deserving participants can embark on this life-changing journey.

Through the generosity of friends and our community, in 2024 we raised enough funds to cover the cost of six young men at our two retreats. This incredible support has changed lives, and we’re excited to continue building on that momentum.

What does $3,500 cover?

Airfare: Round-trip travel for the participant.

Accommodations: A comfortable and welcoming space for the duration of the retreat.

Meals: Nourishing meals to fuel the journey.

Activities and Resources: All tools, workshops, and experiences essential to the retreat’s success.

Why This Matters:

It creates opportunities for meaningful intergenerational dialogue and connection.

It offers young men the chance to engage in reflection, growth, and empowerment in a supportive environment.

It fosters experiences that can create lasting, positive change for individuals and the communities they are part of.
