Empower a Single Mom Escaping Abuse

Hello friends and family,

I am extremely embarrassed to do this, but I have nowhere else to turn. I just ended an abusive relationship with my husband and have been forced to kick him out. It was physically, verbally, and emotionally abusive. It got so bad that he made me quit the last two full-time, good paying jobs I had. I am really struggling financially. I am behind on my bills and my car needs repairs and I can’t get caught up. I am a single mom but I don’t want to involve my two kids. I am working now but it is not enough on my own and I’m trying to find a better-paying job right now. Any help you can give is much appreciated! Thank you!
