I had the opportunity to apply for a political candidate training program for women through an organization called Emerge Tennessee. I was thrilled when I was accepted into this year's cohort. From now until August, I will be attending training sessions with 25 other women in Nashville, Knoxville, and Memphis.

Part of the program is learning how to fundraise for a campaign. As such, I created this page so my family and friends can support me in my fundraising goals and also help me pay for the travel expenses that will come along with the program.
