It's me again - E. Marcel Jones — passionate author, educator, and speaker and Pastor with a heart for youth empowerment. As someone who has spent years working with students, I’ve seen firsthand how pivotal the transition from elementary to middle school can be.
To help students navigate that jump with confidence, I’ve written a brand-new book entitled Power Moves: Level Up for Rising 5th Graders—a fun, relatable, and powerful guide filled with life lessons, journal prompts, affirmations, and real-life examples to prepare students not just for school, but for life.
Why I’m Asking for Your Help
Many of you poured into my request years ago to provide $100 to 10 graduating seniors residing in a low income area of Memphis. Well, on May 16, I’ve been invited to speak at Balmoral Ridgeway Elementary School’s 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony, where over 60 students are preparing to rise into middle school. My dream is to gift each and every one of them a personal copy of my book—Level Up—as a lasting keepsake of inspiration, encouragement, and empowerment. I created the book especially for this group of 5th grade students.
Each book costs just $7 to produce and print. With your help, I can place this tool of transformation into the hands of every young graduate—many of whom may be facing academic, social, or emotional challenges in this next phase of life.
