We’re raising $3,000 to help provide a life-changing emotional support dog for a 17-year-old girl in a beautiful, loving family. She faces daily struggles with autism, anorexia, and severe anxiety that has left her socially isolated and largely unable to leave home. Despite being surrounded by dedicated support services and trying a range of traditional therapies, her progress has been minimal—and her world has become increasingly small.

Due to her ongoing struggles, she’s unable to engage in many of the things she would normally enjoy—like enjoying time creating as a talented artist or spending time with friends. An emotional support dog could be a turning point. With the right temperament, this companion would provide consistent comfort, help reduce anxiety, and gently encourage her back into everyday life—supporting her in returning to school, reconnecting socially, and eventually working toward independence. Research shows that animal-assisted therapy can significantly improve emotional regulation, reduce stress, and provide motivation for daily activities, particularly in young people with autism and mental health challenges.
