Help Emmitt’s Fight Against Leukemia

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, my name is Traci Scott.

Our sweet, brave 5 year-old nephew, Emmitt, has recently been diagnosed with leukemia—a word no family ever expects to hear, especially when it involves such a young and vibrant child. What began as fatigue and unexplained hip pain has now become a life-changing journey that none of us were prepared for.

Emmitt is a joyful, active little boy who loves The Incredible Hulk, playing soccer and basketball, and hanging with his sisters Everly and Lainey. He’s got a smile that fills a room and a heart full of love. Now, he’s facing a battle no child should ever have to fight.

His diagnosis has turned life upside down for his parents, who are now juggling hospital stays, treatment plans, and the emotional toll of watching their little one endure chemotherapy and other necessary procedures. Amidst all this, they are doing everything they can to stay strong and be there for him, every step of the way.

This fundraiser is to help support Emmitt and his family with the overwhelming costs of:

• Hospital stays and ongoing treatments

• Medications not fully covered by insurance

• Loss of income due to time away from work

• Everyday expenses to keep the household running
