Emma's Wing Walk to support local GP and Church.
Hi, my name Emma and for many years I have suffered from many chronic health issues, to mention some, I suffer from Diabetes (Type 1), Gastropareses (paralysed stomach), Diabetic retinopathy (which means I am partially sighted) and I also have Autoimmune neuropathy. With my health problems I have been really lucky to survive as there have been many occasions where they did not think that I would pull through and it has been touch and go but throughout I have received great ongoing support from Dr Jonathan Hill, Weedon Surgery and also from my local church (Nether Heyford Baptist Church ) of which I am a member of and have attended weekly when I have been well enough for the past 8-9 years.
The reason I am starting this funding page is I would like to thank Dr Johnathan Hill who is retiring next year and Weedon Surgery. Also for the friendship, prayers and support from the patrons of my local church, I would love to go out on a limb (or a wing) and raise money for them both. Weedon Surgery the money goes to buying extra equipment for the surgery, and for the church, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and having to close their doors they are unable raise funds to give to their supported causes. So to say a big memorable thank you to them both I am going reach for the sky and do a Wing Walk at Cirencester (Gloucestershire) in September to help raise funds for their causes.
A Wing Walk is no easy feat and will be such an achievement for me on top of a bi-plane wing whilst battling the wind pressure of flying 100 to 1000 feet at speeds to 150mph, with zoom climbs, steep dives and bank turns.
I would really happy :) and would be really appreciative if you too could show your support for me and sponsor my Wing Walk to help me say a BIG THANK YOU for all of the help and support and belief they have given me over the years.
Many Thanks
Emma R. xx
