We are gathering community love and care to support a local Nelson Family, Emma Cardinal and Jaysun Siford, who lost their sweet baby boy, Floyd Zeppelin tragically in childbirth this past week.

Many hearts go out to this couple and baby who have spent many months preparing for this birth and new family member. Emma has gotten to know his spirit and tended to him as the ‘hummingbird baby’. Many of us are feeling a deep loss and grief, and calling together a community of support and compassion at this time.

We would love to help them financially so that they do not need to worry about working for the next coming months and can focus on grievance and rebuilding their strength, physically and emotionally.

Monetary support is to cover the cost of food, housing, medical care and funeral expenses. This monetary support would also go back into the local Kootenay community as Emma and Jaysun love to support local natural health workers, medicine creators and local food systems.
