Emma Is Raising Funds for the 2025 Many Winters Gathering

For my birthday this year, I'm raising funds for this year's Many Winters Gathering of Elders. This is a four-day intertribal gathering, held on Gabrielino-Tongva land in San Pedro (southernmost Los Angeles), where Indigenous elders from nations all over the country and continent come to share teachings through oral tradition, song and ceremony. It's an important event for the Indigenous community to come together, celebrate more than five hundred years of spiritual survival, and heal from historical trauma. It's also a one-of-a-kind opportunity for the general public to learn traditional knowledge that has sustained Native lifeways--the event is free and open to the public. It draws more than a thousand attendees every year, including school groups from all over LA.

First held in 1992, this year's Gathering will take place Thursday, October 9 through Sunday, October 12. Please help make sure this beautiful event can continue to thrive!
