Emma and Clint Spong brain surgery support
Donation protected
Hey legends, most of you who have the privilege of knowing this amazing family will be aware that they’ve been dealt a challenging hand these last few years. Emma, Clint and their 4 beautiful children will always be the first to lend a hand, an ear, a lift, a load, and a place to stay at their home at Moora, Western Australia .
They never ask for anything, except maybe some time for a beer and a catch-up whenever you’re near. They’re the salt of the earth type of people who run their own small trucking business and are least deserving of being caught up in legal costs which have caused a huge financial strain due to court and lawyers fees.
As well as this Emma was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2018. She is scheduled for brain surgery to remove a goofball sized tumour which has caused debilitating migraines that leave her bed bound. Her surgery date has been changed twice now with no regard to their family and livelihood circumstances. Clint has also had to schedule time off work to support them so they can share some valuable time together. It is unknown whether her recovery will be swift and things will return to normal or if it may take weeks or months but all we know is that this family needs the support of the amazing network of people around them to allow some breathing room so they can be together.
I know Emma and Clint have friends across this beautiful country (and beyond) who are aware of their situation and want to assist. Those of you who can’t be there to cook a meal, do a load of washing or drive a truck- this is your chance to help is some way. Share a little or a lot, whatever you can give, we need to do something. Thank you for your time and kindness
