Emily (9) has written her very own song, called “SELFA and Me”, to share just how much this incredible charity means to her.

While Emily appears confident and charismatic on the outside, she faces daily challenges that aren’t always visible to others. SELFA is an amazing charity which provides a happy, supportive and safe space where children can truly be themselves, make friends and have fun.

As a parent, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities Emily is given and the caring, nurturing environment they create for her and all the other children. On a personal note, I’m equally grateful for the support they offer me as a parent.

Emily would love to raise £150 to help SELFA continue its vital work supporting children just like her.

More information about SELFA: We nurture and support disadvantaged children through enriching experiences to enable them to be the best they can be. Many of the children have autism, learning disabilities, attachment disorder, mental and physical health issues. We work closely with parents and other agencies to support each child, with the firm belief that no child should be denied access to the activities and experiences that we know can build confidence and self-esteem, raise aspirations and improve attitudes and behaviour.
