Hurricane Helene ravaged our area and most of WNC in September 2024.

Our area and most of WNC are still recovering.

I run Unit 49 Relief site.

It's a 12x28 storage unit that I have rented and I opened a donation distribution hub. This GoFundMe will help pay the monthly fee for me to continue to operate this distribution site.

We serve about 100 families give or take every Friday. This includes, food for a few days, household needs, hygiene products, baby diapers, wipes, formula and other baby care items. We also have adult incontinence products, and pet care needs. Along with blankets and sleeping bags, tents and heaters and just miscellaneous items folks need to survive right now.

I'll operate this site as long as we have funds to cover the monthly expenses. We will also be using funds from this campaign to purchase most requested items as physical donations have slowed down.
