Emilys Leukaemia Fight

Emily’s been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia a devastating diognosis that has turned both her & her familys world upside down.

AML is a very rare & aggresive blood cancer. After intensive treatment including chemotherapy & a bone marrow transplant for complete remission we want to solely focus on treatment & alleviate any financial stress.

Emily should be able to concentrate on her health as a top priority without the worry about money. Leukaemia patients face a very long and hard battle, often unable to work for 1-3 years so financially this will be a strain on her for the foreseeable.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated so much I just wanted to take some pressure off of Emily at this time in her life - she has been a absolute warrior on top of fighting Leukaemia herself her father is very ill dying with cancer too and due to Emilys illness she is unable to visit her dad in hospital because of how vulnerable she is to infections.

Emily currently has not been able to leave hospital since her diagnosis she has been very unsettled with being moved serval times to all different hospitals which she has had no choice in the matter and has just had to adapt each time which is very upsetting but despite this has stayed positive.

She has two beautiful daughters who have had to be without their mum every night which is heartbreaking not just for Emily but her girls world has been torn apart overnight.

She longs to be home with her family again as soon as she can however she knows it’s going to be a long road ahead, the pain she feels each day that passes where she can’t be with her daughters to say goodnight hurts beyond words!

Emily is due to start her treatment soon now she has been relocated to Maidstone hospital where they have the medicine in which she needs and sadly there is high possibility she will lose all her hair due to the strength of chemo needed to treat her condition, being a woman myself I can’t begin to imagine how this must feel.

Any donation no matter how small would be massively appreciated in order to help provide some support to both Emily and her family at this challenging time.
