This July, I will embark on a six month long medical mission trip with the organization Youth With a Mission (YWAM). My journey begins in Perth, Australia, where I will complete the lecture phase of my mission. During the lecture phase, I will learn about discipleship, global health, and gain hands-on specialization in basic health care.  Once finished with the lecture phase, the outreach portion begins in Kolkata, India, where I will learn how to run medical clinics for three weeks. Next after breaking into smaller groups, I will have the opportunity to provide medical care to undersevered rural or inner-city areas in various locations in either Africa or Asia. I am beyond excited to start this new journey, and see how God will work in my life and with this mission. Also, I will be able to apply what I learn to my future career as a physician assistant.
