Emily and Kirk Rebuild

Hello my wonderful family and friends!

As most of you know my niece Emily and her husband Kirk live in Fort Myers. Needless to say, Hurricane Ian did a number on these newlyweds! Married just 6 months ago, they moved into a cute house by the Caloosahatchee River. They used most of their wedding money to buy new living room and bedroom furniture and lots of houseware items to make their house a home. Needless to say, they lost everything! Including Kirk’s cherished Mustang, a true muscle car that was loaded with all the bells and whistles! Emily and Kirk would never ask for a dime, they are hard working young adults. EM works two jobs, a first grade teacher and fashion merchandiser and Kirk works for Lee County and is in the process of cleaning up this horrible disaster! I keep asking myself, how can I help and what can I do? So, you know me, I am the queen of fundraising! Why not put my skills to use and help my family and this beautiful couple! Do you remember starting out? Barely getting by? Well, add losing everything and starting over! They did manage to salvage most of their personal belongings but lost the big ticket items. For now they are living in Emily’s childhood bedroom, with my sister until they get back on their feet. Let’s just say not the best scenario for trying to start a family! HA!

Please help if you can. Any amount will be greatly appreciated! They will use this money to find a new place to live, buy new furniture and begin to rebuild what they lost.
