Hello, my name is Miranda Duckworth, and I am a mother fighting to protect my son, Emerson. Time is of the essence in this matter.

I started over in North Carolina to create a safe and loving environment for my child. The decision to leave was not easy, but I knew it was the only way to give Emerson the life he deserves.

When his father found out about Emerson, he hired a private investigator to track me down. Since then, he has retained lawyers and is actively trying to take my son away from me. I work hard to support myself and my child, but my income barely covers basic living expenses. I cannot afford the legal representation I desperately need to keep my son safe and with me.
